5 Essential Oils Your Skin Loves

 


Essential oils  have been used by numerous civilizations for ages to improve their everyday lives, conduct religious ceremonies, maintain well-being, and use as fragrances.

Essential oils are not only diverse, but many of them also include naturally occurring elements that are essentially intended for one purpose: skin beautification.

Essential oils employ their natural capabilities to lighten, smooth and moisturize the look of skin in a manner that leaves you feeling delightfully pampered, unlike skincare treatments that rely upon harsh and synthetic components.

1. Lavender Bottle (Essential Oil of Lavender)

The best place to start is with lavender essential oil, which is a must-have in any home. This popular essential oil hydrates and calms all skin types, and it's simple to add to your daily skincare routine.

Treat your skin to a small facial massage by putting a drop in your hand and mixing it with face moisturiser.
Combine coconut oil, sugar, and lavender oil to make a simple DIY body scrub. Begin with 3–4 drops and work your way up as desired.
Combine 1 cup Epsom salt and 4 drops of lavender in a hot bath to create a spa-like experience.

2. Frankincense

Frankincense essential oil has been prized for its various advantages, including its revitalizing and beautifying characteristics, since ancient times. This luscious oil is good for all skin types, but it's especially good for older skin. It moisturises and smooths the skin.

After cleaning your face, massage a drop of Frankincense into it, then apply your normal moisturisers.
Add a drop to your facial moisturizer or moisturizing cream and gently massage it into your skin.
After a hard day, rub into the skin of your hands and feet to restore the texture of your skin.

3. Cedarwood wood

Cedarwood essential oil is a highly versatile oil with a deep, woodsy scent that may be used to smooth and nourish many skin types.

Add a few drops of Cedarwood to your favourite lotions to smooth skin on the face and body.
3–4 drops in a basin of boiling water To clear pores and enjoy the peaceful scent, protect your head as well as the bowl with a cloth and deep breathing and gently for several minutes.

After that, give yourself a face massage with 1 drop of Cedarwood oil.
5–6 drops Cedarwood essential oil with a modest quantity of coconut or argan oil 30–60 minutes before washing, massage into your scalp, then wash and rinse your hair as usual.

4. Tea Tree

Tea Tree oil is fantastic for all skin types, but it's especially good for oily skin. It's been used in skincare for its cleaning abilities for centuries.

Place a drop on the end of the cotton swab and dab softly over targeted parts of the face as a spot treatment.
To nourish your scalp, add 1–2 drops to your regular shampoo application. Shampoo your hair and scalp, then let it in for a few minutes to enjoy the cold, tingling feeling before rinsing.

5.Geranium

Geranium essential oil is a great choice for skin that needs to be smoothed and toned. This essential oil is suitable for all skin types, although it is particularly useful for oily or dry skin.

Use a few teaspoons of this essential oil in a DIY face mask or during a relaxing facial massage to relieve tension.
4–5 drops per 2 ounces of water in a water bottle Spritz lightly on skin for a reviving and refreshing sensation.

6.Ylang-Ylang

Ylang Ylang essential oil is known for its sweet flowery scent, but it also moisturises and revitalises the skin. This energizing essential oil is suitable for all skin types, although it is particularly beneficial to dry or aged skin.

Combine a few drops in a carrier oil, and use in a soothing massage at the end of the day.
2–3 drops per quart of bathwater
Add a drop to your facial cream or body lotion and gently massage it into your skin.
