Tea Tree Essential Oil: How to Use It
Topically
Tea tree oil may be applied to the skin in two ways: neat (undiluted) and diluted.
If you have sensitive skin, dilute tea tree oil in a carrier oil such as coconut oil.
If you're using it on children, we recommend diluting the oil and applying it on the soles of their feet.
Aromatically
Tea tree oil is an excellent essential oil to diffuse aromatically (unless you have cats, in which case keep tea tree oil away from them).
Because of its antibacterial and antifungal qualities, this is an excellent method of air purification.
